Bill McCarthy has a 49 year history of producing special events for humanitarian and activist causes. He has produced events in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York that have drawn audiences as large as 300,000 people. Bill's events have featured many of the most prominent people in the music, movie, television industries. He has a long history of producing special events supporting the United Nations, beginning in 1984 with "A UN Day Celebration" in Los Angeles.
In 2016 Bill received the Life Time Achievement Award from President Barack Obama for his lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service.
